Gracie Jordan and Chelsea Hill have joined the Downtown Development Authority as Marketing Manager and Director of Business Development, respectively. Originally from San Diego, CA, Gracie relocated to Jesup in 2014. Since their move to Georgia, her family has gained experiences in the hospitality industry by owning and operating JaJe’s Place restaurant, and currently stays busy with boutique hotel, Mallard Arms Inn. After working in entertainment at the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Gracie returned to the Golden Isles to take a job in the town she called home for three years while studying Hospitality & Tourism Management at the College of Coastal Georgia. In addition to her position with the DDA, she works part-time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, assisting in the executive suites. Gracie enjoys spending time with her loved ones, watching the Dallas Cowboys, starting new crafts projects, solving puzzles, and going to concerts with her friends and family.

Chelsea Hill is a Brunswick native who graduated from Glynn Academy. After graduating she moved to Valdosta, Georgia, only to come back to the Golden Isles to manage a beautiful Inn on St. Simons Island. She brings extensive experience in the hospitality industry to her position with the DDA and has an indescribable love for people. Chelsea is married to one of Glynn County’s finest officers and the mother of two amazing kiddos, Conner, and Chloe. When they’re not hanging out Downtown, you can find them in North Georgia hiking the beautiful Blue Ridge or on the sandy beaches of the Gulf Coast.

The Downtown Development Authority is located in Old City Hall at 1229 Newcastle St. You can reach Gracie and Chelsea by phone at 912.265.4032.
