CoastFest is an exciting free annual event hosted by the Coastal Resources Division, dedicated to celebrating and educating the public about Georgia’s coastal heritage and natural resources. Expect hands-on learning, live wildlife, exhibits, and fun for all ages.
Explore exhibits from local, state, and federal environmental agencies and partner organizations. Learn about marine life, coastal ecosystems, and conservation through hands-on displays. See live birds of prey from Georgia Southern’s Center for Wildlife Education, plus other wildlife displays. Don’t miss cannon firings and black powder demonstrations from Georgia State Parks & Historic Sites. Student artwork will be featured as part of the CoastFest Art Contest exhibit (Pre-K to 12th grade). There will also be vendors and food trucks on site.
