Author Talk: Hafeez Lakhani and ABUNDANCE - Aug 6, 2026 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM @ St. Simons Casino Building - Library/Theatre

On Thursday, August 6, Hafeez Lakhani visits the St. Simons Literary Guild to discuss his debut novel, Abundance, a book People magazine calls “A Best Book of the Month & Most Anticipated Book of the Year.” It’s the story of generations of a Muslim Indian family who grapple with what parts of life we control and what must be accepted in pursuit of the American dream. Born in Hyderabad, India, and raised in suburban South Florida, Hafeez has received fellowships from PEN America and the Center for Fiction, been recognized twice with a Notable Essay in Best American Essays and nominated twice for a Pushcart Prize. Bookseller for this event is Righton Books. Talk takes place at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Simons Casino Theatre. To reserve your seat, visit litguildssi.org.
