Join the Literary Guild of St. Simons Island for an Author Talk and Book Signing with Sara Kay Rupnick and Our Hands are White as Milk.  Her debut novel is a fictional account of the life of Claire Clairmont, stepsister of Mary Shelley, mother of Lord Byron’s daughter, and the faithful companion of the rakish Percy Bysshe Shelley. To remain in Percy and Mary’s bright orbit, Claire Clairmont becomes a muse to Shelley, a lover to the great Lord Byron, and a witness to Mary’s creation of Frankenstein. Sarah holds a MFA in Writing from Vermont College and offers Writing Workshops through Around the Block Writers Collaborative. She divides her time wandering from Coastal Georgia to a river in New Hampshire and a hilltop in West Cork, Ireland. Sarah’s first book of short stories was Women Longing to Fly.

Bookseller: GJ Ford.

Free for Guild members, $10 for non-members.
