Land Trust Welcomes New Team Member

Kimbrough Haverstock recently joined the St. Simons Land Trust staff as an Administrative Assistant. Kimbrough grew up in Savannah, and attended Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. After college, in 2003, she moved to St. Simons Island where she worked in real estate, fell in love with exploring her her island home, and discovered the important role the Land Trust plays in its preservation. Kimbrough’s career path then shifted as she began working in schools as an administrator at Frederica Academy. In 2010, she moved to Atlanta to work at The Lovett School. She was thrilled to have the opportunity in 2020 to move back to St. Simons Island with her husband Lee and their two children.
